16 Sep 07 White Chamber Review

This month on my favourite gaming magazine, NAG, I stumbled upon an indie adventure game called White Chamber.

I thought what the heck, why not? I love adventure games. So, I started it up having no idea of what adventure I will be getting myself into.

White Chamber is a space-station, trippy, murder, who-dunnit adventure (kinda like Solaris meets Silent Hill) created by the guys at Studio Trophis.

I play adventure games, because of the engrossing environment and story. I hate impossible, and non-obvious puzzles, ie (Monkey Island 4)… I usually have to resort to walkthroughs to see how the game/story ends.

White Chamber is an awesome, but short (for a good reason) adventure game. It had not too hard puzzles and a great dollop of crazy, hell-like scenes. Every time I re-entered a room, I was petrified that I would enter another crazy world.
The atmosphere, story and indie-ness makes this a must for any player, not only adventure gamers.

You can find more info on the game + juicy screenies here.

Enjoy! And dont play too late at night.
